New Years in NY

Kendall spent New Years in Binghamton, NY with Great Grandma MacLeod. She got to play in snow for the first time! She went sledding with Uncle Bruce, Pop Pop, Mi Mi, and Mommy. Wow it was cold!

Christmas Time!

Kendall had a wonderful first Christmas! She spent time in Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and New York with Great Grandma. She now has so many toys, she does not know which one to play with first.

Ho Ho Ho... What?

So Kendall wasn't so happy to see Santa. Oh well, guess she is getting coal in her stocking! Maybe it was the red suit... or the hat? Nope I believe it was the white gloves! She is very fashion conscious!

All I want for Christmas is my...

Aunt Jenn recommended the following for Kendall's Christmas present this year. It moves, talks, and makes all kinds of noises. Too bad it doesn't babysit, or I might consider the outrageous price. :-)

Colonial Williamsburg with Mimi and Pop Pop

During the Holidays, Colonial Williamsburg is always a great place to practice walking. There are always lots of people and pretty decorations.

Again... thanks to Auntie Jenn :-)

Of course Kendall is use to it by now, but every time she sees Aunt Jenn she gets to play dress up. Except not the kind you normally think a little girl might do...

David and Elaine's Anniversary Party

Kendall was all dressed up for her first Anniversary party this past weekend. Susan was so happy to see her, and did an excellent job baby sitting too!

Costco Trip

Kendall knows what she wants for Christmas...

Lunch with Great Grandma and Grandpa

Kendall went to lunch with Great Grandpa and Grandma Spangler. They were very surprised at how much she has grown. She can pull herself up, almost balance by herself, and only month or so from taking her real first steps.

Happy Halloween!

Kendall’s first Halloween was a success! She wore her special bright orange Halloween outfit during the day Friday (thanks to Aunt Jenn), and she was a Lady Bug at night (thanks to Shari). Oh… she would like to thank Grandma and Grandpa Craig as well, because she couldn’t have done it without them.

Redskins game with Uncle David and Aunt Elaine

Kendall went to her third Redskins game today all dressed up in her Redskins outfit. She got to see Uncle David and Aunt Elaine. It was so cold that we left before the 4th quarter. Thank God the Skins won!

Belvedere Plantation

Kendall went to Belvedere Plantation today! She played in the hay and saw massive pumpkins. She even managed to get her face painted! I can't wait for Halloween to come!

Ear Piercing!!!

Kendall got her ears pierced today. As you can tell by this picture, she wasn't very pleased about it. However, I am sure she will thank Mom and Auntie Jenn in the future. Since she has so little hair, hopefully this will help people recognize she is a girl!

Why I don't spend more nights with Auntie Jenn!

This is why Kendall can't have a lot of sleep overs with Auntie Jenn and Mom. Although it is very cute, I am afraid that the cost of therapy later in life might not be worth it. :-)

Apple Picking

Kendall went apple picking today with Jenn, Grandma and Grandpa Craig. Too bad most of the apples had already been picked. Instead we went for a hay ride to see some cows. Of course she had to have her special apple picking outfit on. :-)

Another cute one!

Kendall is finally getting more hair on her head. Although she still kind of looks like a boy in this picture. It's so hard to imagine how tiny she was in the beginning. Won't be long and she will be packing for College. :-(

Natural History Museum with Kendall

While in DC for the Book Fest we took a break to explore the Natural History Museum. They had a brand new Aquarium exhibit (seen in the back ground). She loved looking at the fish tank. What really kept her interest was all the colors on the different kinds of fish. We really had a blast. But one Smithsonian was enough for today. We plan to return again soon!

Kendall meets Tiki Barber!!!

Today we went to the Book Fest in Washington, DC. When I heard that Tiki Barber (former NY Giant Running Back) was going to be signing his children's books, I just had to get one for Kendall. I have to say... he was such a nice guy. He has a twin brother too! They both write children's books in their spare time. What a treat!

A loving gift from Auntie Alexis

Following a request to post on Kendall's site from Alexis, this was a drawing that she did for Kendall. How perfect! Who knew she was such an artist?

Sleepy Kendall

Meg and I thought this was priceless!  Kendall was so exhausted from the day that she couldn't keep her head up.  So why doesn't she sleep when I want her too? :-)

Video of Kendall crawling

See video of Kendall crawling. She is improving very quickly. We hope to have her running laps around the house by next weekend... haha! Ignore the sound of the football game in the background. I forgot to mute the TV :-)

Lake Accotink

Today we went to Lake Accotink to enjoy the nice weather. As you can see is starting to become more independent and loves to explore. The Cinderella ball in the back is supposed to help her crawl faster. She loves chasing after it. What a beautiful day it was!

Finally we see a tooth!

Sorry there are no pictures to share, but this morning Meg and I noticed that Kendall is finally starting to grow a bottom tooth.  It isn't in yet, but we are anticipating it any day now.  I heard that once she gets one, they rest come in very quickly.  Now she won't look like a grandma with no teeth!

Ohhh!!!! Other news about Kendall.  She is beginning to crawl.  At this point she is not moving very fast.  She can definitely pull herself up to a standing position, and she has been known to crawl a few feet for her toys. Hey... that's progress!

Redskins Game!

Kendall went to her 2nd Redskins game this weekend. Thanks to Grandma Craig, she had her "fabulous" homemade Redskins hat to wear. To bad it was so hot that we had to leave before the end of the 3rd quarter. Just in time to miss Clinton Portis and Santana Moss save the game for the Redskins. At least the Skins won!

Daddy Duty :-)

Since Meg is out of town and I have Kendall all by myself, I decided to take some new pictures. This is one of my favorite all times. We were watching the Ohio State football game and I thought we should put her game hat on. I think it is pretty cute!

Too Cute!!!

This is just a cute picture that was taken in Fredericksburg last month.
She is sitting on a toy that her Mom (Meg) and Jenn played with as a kid.
I just had to post it.

Kendall gets kicked out of Church!

Ok, so she is officially acting her age. Grandma MacLeod did not agree
that she was misbehaving, but we (her parents) were not happy with her
behavior at Church on Sunday. Meg was kind enough to take her outside
the sanctuary until she calmed down. No, there are not pictures
accompanying this post, because we do not want to encourage this conduct
in the future. We did however think it was appropriate to share with the
world. Shockingly enough she is not "the perfect child" we thought she was.

Washington Zoo!

Kendall went to the Washington Zoo this weekend. There she saw Pandas, Hippos, Elephants, Lions, Tigers and Bears… oh my! I think we enjoyed the trip more than her! Next time we will make sure she is a bit older so she can enjoy too.

Her 1st Redskins Game

Kendall went to her first Redskins game today! The noise was so loud that she couldn’t concentrate. There was so much to see, and so little time to do it. She may be the best lucky charm ever… they won!! At least Grandpa Craig was excited.

Manteo Aquarium

While at the beach we took Kendall to the Aquarium in Manteo, NC. There she saw all types of fish, turtles, sharks, rays, etc. Here she is looking at the turtle aquarium with Uncle Bruce.

Elizabethan Gardens

Kendall also traveled to the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, NC. This happens to be the same location her Mom and Dad got married three years ago. To bad a huge storm was blowing in as soon as we got there. We still had time to snap a few pictures though.

Beach Time!

Kendall went to the Outer Banks for her first beach experience this week. The first couple of days she was taking it all in, but by the end of the week she was loving the waves and sand. Ok, so her favorite part was tasting the salt water and eating the sand. :-)
