Natural History Museum with Kendall

While in DC for the Book Fest we took a break to explore the Natural History Museum. They had a brand new Aquarium exhibit (seen in the back ground). She loved looking at the fish tank. What really kept her interest was all the colors on the different kinds of fish. We really had a blast. But one Smithsonian was enough for today. We plan to return again soon!

Kendall meets Tiki Barber!!!

Today we went to the Book Fest in Washington, DC. When I heard that Tiki Barber (former NY Giant Running Back) was going to be signing his children's books, I just had to get one for Kendall. I have to say... he was such a nice guy. He has a twin brother too! They both write children's books in their spare time. What a treat!

A loving gift from Auntie Alexis

Following a request to post on Kendall's site from Alexis, this was a drawing that she did for Kendall. How perfect! Who knew she was such an artist?

Sleepy Kendall

Meg and I thought this was priceless!  Kendall was so exhausted from the day that she couldn't keep her head up.  So why doesn't she sleep when I want her too? :-)

Video of Kendall crawling

See video of Kendall crawling. She is improving very quickly. We hope to have her running laps around the house by next weekend... haha! Ignore the sound of the football game in the background. I forgot to mute the TV :-)

Lake Accotink

Today we went to Lake Accotink to enjoy the nice weather. As you can see is starting to become more independent and loves to explore. The Cinderella ball in the back is supposed to help her crawl faster. She loves chasing after it. What a beautiful day it was!

Finally we see a tooth!

Sorry there are no pictures to share, but this morning Meg and I noticed that Kendall is finally starting to grow a bottom tooth.  It isn't in yet, but we are anticipating it any day now.  I heard that once she gets one, they rest come in very quickly.  Now she won't look like a grandma with no teeth!

Ohhh!!!! Other news about Kendall.  She is beginning to crawl.  At this point she is not moving very fast.  She can definitely pull herself up to a standing position, and she has been known to crawl a few feet for her toys. Hey... that's progress!

Redskins Game!

Kendall went to her 2nd Redskins game this weekend. Thanks to Grandma Craig, she had her "fabulous" homemade Redskins hat to wear. To bad it was so hot that we had to leave before the end of the 3rd quarter. Just in time to miss Clinton Portis and Santana Moss save the game for the Redskins. At least the Skins won!

Daddy Duty :-)

Since Meg is out of town and I have Kendall all by myself, I decided to take some new pictures. This is one of my favorite all times. We were watching the Ohio State football game and I thought we should put her game hat on. I think it is pretty cute!

Too Cute!!!

This is just a cute picture that was taken in Fredericksburg last month.
She is sitting on a toy that her Mom (Meg) and Jenn played with as a kid.
I just had to post it.
