Snow, Snow, Snow!

This weekend we got over 18 inches of snow! We tried to take a picture of Kendall standing deep in it, but she wasn't heavy enough. :-) She decided to sit instead.

Kendall met Santa for the first time tonight. She was so excited and kept saying "Ho Ho Ho..." all night.

Gymboree Class

Kendall at her Gymboree class. Over the summer we signed her up for a local class that promotes learning and social interaction with other kids. Very worth while! She enjoyed every minute of it.

James Madison University

Kendall took a trip to Harrisonburg, VA to see where her parents went to college - James Madison University. Too bad the weather wasn’t all that great. She still got to see the Duke Dog, and we still took some great pictures. Wow, I feel old...

Luray Zoo

While on our way to JMU we stopped at the Luray Zoo. This is a small recue zoo located in the middle of nowhere. She saw lots of snakes, birds, and even a tiger.

Playground time...

Now that Kendall can walk, one of her favorite activities is to visit a school playground near our house. It's still a little tough for her to enjoy the slide, being that it is ten times her size, but she is also a people watcher... who did she get that from??? :-)

National History Museum

Kendall, Mimi, Pop Pop, Mom and Dad went to the National History Museum. She was able to see old cars, trains, and bikes. She even got sit with a really nice statue woman. All this before going to Fogo de Chao where she ate some fancy cheese... one of her absolute favorite foods.
